While this project has been extensively published on Archdaily, I’ve never had the urge to go there and see it for myself. On our way from Gyeongbokgung Palace to the N Seoul Tower we passed the New City Hall and took a few pictures. The contrast between the old City Hall building (now a library) and the new glass wave seems to be overwhelming. There have been better attempts to mix old and new. This is probably my least favorite building of the ones I have seen. Go see for yourself and make up your own mind.
