It’s amazing what you discover when you break your mundane routine from time to time. This past Friday, some friends of mine planned to go to H&M in Cheongju and invited me with. As I had nothing better to do, I decided to tag along. Besides, I don’t recall ever visiting Cheongju.

Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed with the amount of green space the city had. The roads are lined with trees and it seemed as if 4pm was the perfect time to be in the city – the light was gorgeous. After shopping, and before driving back we decided to walk around for a bit. So glad we did that, for we found a great park abundant with public art. What we stumbled upon was almost surreal; people were enjoying the outside spaces while children were running and playing about – like an architectural render come to life. Best impromptu trip ever.
